This wine offers loads of dark fruit, blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by hints of peppercorn and bay leaf, cedar and baking spice.  Offering the richness of a warmer vintage while holding its freshness and structure coming from the regions limestone laced vineyards, this blend of vineyard sites provides layers and depth allowing for great ageability, but providing pleasure and approachability right out of the gate.  Aged for 22 months in 100% French oak, of which 40% new. Harvested in multiple passes between September 12th – 30th.
