2015 Pinot Noir
This is a beautiful entry level offering bringing the diversity of numerous sites and clones together offering an attractive nose of rose petal, cherry, pomegranate, and baking spices. The palate is supple and round with beautiful balance and length.
Vineyard Notes
52% from Odyssey-Thurlestone Vineyard in the Edna Valley. The soils here are rocky and mineral driven given the location on the base Islay Hill, which is art of the volcanic chain through the county.
48% from Spanish Springs Vineyard in SLO County. The soil at this site is sandy loam, which produces much more concentrated fruit resulting is dark red fruit notes.
Winemaking Notes
Aged in 100% French Oak for 12 months, 20% New French Oak.
